Football in this country as we know it changed for ever. A so called independent 3 man FA commission voted 2-1 to allow Wimbledon Football Club (WFC) to move from South London to Milton Keynes 60 miles away.

A WISA meeting was held tonight and over 1000 people turned up, it has been agreed that a new team will be formed. £20,000 needs to be raised in 2 weeks to get the club up and running.
With the birth of the idea and the inspiration to follow it through, this is officially the first day in the life of AFC Wimbledon.
