Captain Joe has gone
The O/S has announced that after a meeting with Mr.Anderson, Joe Sheerin has decided to leave the club and join Croydon Athletic, Joe was one of the players who joined the club from the trials on Wimbledon Common & lead the players out as captain against Sutton Utd.
Throughout his three years Joe
was dogged with injuries, but when he played you would always expect him to
score or created a goal or two and he has score some top quality goals for the
club.
Thanks to Joe for his three years at the club, shame about all the injuries as you always added an extra dimension when playing and good luck in the future, hope you get to play more.

Another new keeper
The O/S has announced that Andy Little has signed from Crawley Town, Mr.Anderson has been looking at Andy for some time and is pleased to have signed him, Andy has experience in the Doc Martens Prem and in the Conference so should be a good addition to the team.

International Womble
Well done to Shane Smeltz who became the 1st AFC Wimbledon player to get a full men's international cap, when he came on as a sub for New Zealand in the 89th minute against Australia.
It may have only been for a couple of minutes, but it was well worth the wait for the hundred or so Wombles in the crowd, who gave him a excellent reception of AFC Wimbledon & there's only one Kiwi Womble that could be heard loud and clear, not only on Sky Sports but also at the other end of the ground.
Also thanks to the New Zealand crowd for making us welcome and applauded us at the end, shame the Ausses won, but it did take them 85 mins to get the ball pass the NZ keeper, p.s Mr.Anderson he's out of contract at Walsall.
Pictures (sorry not many and Shane coming on a bit small and dark)
